Sitting right here looking somewhat like a lobster. Burnt by the scorching sun from yesterday's intercourse(Ops. InterDiploma i mean) Captain's ball match. And this v shaped burn under my neck prohibited me from wearing wad i wanted to wear to church. =l All cuz i stupidly wore a polo tee. Did i forget to mention the fair skin i have under glasses? Man, its funny. And, dumb. How would i ever forget bout this?
Its Sunday and im still in a state of euphoria. i still cant accept the fact that we won. Victoriously. Yes, we made it to 'trash the nurses'(sounds familar?) and surprisingly, the therapists too. Dr Ron even visualized Yas gulping champange from the trophy!
The pre-tournament trainings were all worth it. The players were so comfortable by Sat, and displayed wonderous coordinations.
Regristration was scary. We looked like dawrfs admist the tall the huge the tanned the fit and the netballers n never forgetting the 'smelly' basket-ballers that used a weird stretegdy no one would have ever thought of.

All of us had this premonition that we would be kicked out after round1 cuz the1st nursing team that competed against us had 2 giants-The defender who literally tapped away every ball we threw to huemin, and the big man who played rather rough thought that the girls would feel intimidated! When the score was a draw, the defender tried hard to stall time by pulling a quick one:stomachache. However, the empires stopped time and ruined his plan.Over the mountains and the seas, we won 5-4! Close shave indeed. Confidence grew as we got pass the 1st round.

2nd match was against Occupational Therapy. The pace was so fast. The co-ordination was pur-fat. DT won comfortably;9-1. Thanks to Ping who did long shoots as the team's energy was draining. HeeShen was there to 'support'. He wore this 'sunglasses' over his specs. I dont mean those that have magnets at the side for clip ons. Get the picture : He wore glasses prob meant for Radiography. =l Some said he looked like he's all geared up for diving. Boo. Will that be made possible?

3rd match was against RG. The most memorable one. The match Ping was looking forward to. LoL! The unhappiness DTs harboured over them having 4 guys were finally blurted out. The argument made Kel ignite in flames. In e end, compromise was made : They were allowed to replace 1 guy. Most memorable incident: Desmond ROARED at Kel. LOL. Everyone who caught that was laughing hysterically. A moment to remember, indeed. Another incident : No4 n Kel were snatching over the ball. Kel got it when she whined to the umpire I GOT IT FIRST... Sub Ping as i needed to do something, though i was a reserve. Slowed the entire match playing around for 5 mins. I blurted out a loud "SHIT" as the opponent got the ball. Thank God, wad was rightfully ours was gotten back. 11-3 was the score.

Final match-against Yr2 Nursing. The guys passed the balls to their female mates only when they were left with no choice. They had real weird tactics. Trashed them with 13-6.

Dr Ron : Thanks for showing your utmost support all the way. And having confidence in such a horrid player like me. I can thank u till the cows go home for having in me such great faith. Haha.

Tan weiwei, Marilyn, Cady n YuanQi took the effort to cheer in the blazing sun. I was somewhat a supporter too. I yelled my throat away. Without all these shrieking support and cheers, I dun think DT will win. The supporters were truly their only source of motivation. The prize is secondary. What was important was that we really got to care for each other. Really, deeply touched by your attendance. Loads of kissies to u all!

U were GOOD n that's why u were chosen to join e team. u improved tremendously n for e 2nd game u were steady n made some good passes n catches. impressive performance after only 3 trainings :D (THIS IS FROM KELLY!!!! DT emerged as champions. No one ever would expect dwarfs to get that tittle. But was everyone there to share this joy?
