Its the hump of the week and im running on empty. :(

I was supposed to go for a run with UnclePat at SIX in the morning cause he needs to send his wife to the MRTstation at 8.15am and meet a client after. It doesnt take a fortune teller to tell me I wouldnt make it. So i made extra efforts, by turning in early (1220am) and put 3 (handphone)alarms at 5mins interval to disrupt my Saturday-sleep-in-till-late-morning regime. To no avail.

7.13am, 1 message received, "Yo!! Funky, you 'funk' my aeroplane!!"
7.15am, 1 message received, "Hey Funky. Mi going home!! See you, buddy."

Thats my >50year old Uncle trying to be funny. Trying too hard.

Hahaha.

Went swimming at CSC@Tessensohn and chanced upon a poster. Membership has its privileges! Simply present the CSC membership card at the ticket box office. :)

I think 99.9% of the population is trypanophobic! Despite having given local anaesthesia for the past 3 years, I was wincing even before the the assistant nurse administered the LA. Overall experience was manageable & enjoyable albeit the 2 second LA plunge and the nasty long and thick gauge 17(i think) hypodermic needle sticking into me.
Contary to popular belief of weight gain post donation, the only gain is satisfaction, knowing that i saved (up to) 3 lives. My last visit was in Oct 2006 and wonder what took me so long to do it again.
With recent rising death polls due to natural disasters, Im thankful for being alive and in Sg. Yet i do have suicidal thoughts at times. Hmm.

Anon posted an uber long comment on "Speeding Kills" and im not too bothered bout replying. I love my guests and i know its rude. But im too tired to fully comprehend and argue bout why is 'being a vegetable' a concern as long as im not exceeding the capacity of the car. My point during post time is, speed coupled with CONDITIONS. OKAY?! CASE CLOSED.
