My collegue and I put this together Carmen, the delicacy of all
It was an evening with an awesome blend of good laughs, idle and heart to heart chatter.Here's the recipe, really easy to put together. Time consuming, i must admit.
1) Cream 240gm butter, 1 cuppa granulated sugar and 1 cuppa brown sugar before adding 2 eggs and 1tsp of vanilla essence.
2) Prepare 2.5 cuppa blended oatmeal (Measure and blend to a fine powder larh!), 2 cuppa plain flour, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp salt and fold it into (1).
3) Add choc chips and nuts. (I used baking choc chips and ready chopped almonds)
4) Roll into lil balls and set em on a cookie sheet, placing 'em an inch apart. (Keep your itchy-oily palm from flattening out the mix.)
5) Bake. Supposed to bake for 10 mins at 375 degress. But my electric oven allowed 250deg. Take it out when the top turns latte coloured. Allow it to cool before storing. :)
Recommendations:
1) A chorus of nancy boys who helps you clear the mess.
2) Girlfriends who keeps an eye on your hygiene practices.
3) Flour-war with boyfriend(s).
4) Skip the mixer. Folding everything together makes a good workout for the clavicle, deltoids, triceps and brachioradialis!

Might be applying for leave on 26th-28th Dec too! To reflect upon 2007 and plan for 2008. And have a great rest before RatRace2008. I dont mind fully-paid-for holiday trips (travel insurance inclusive)!! Anyone has to offer?!
