Facets of Life

Snapped at Geylang Lor 9.. And i saw how beautiful life and love is.. These pictures tell a lovely tale. It says much about the union of 2 souls.. And the way i see it, for better for worse, for richer for poorer..

As she laid her barang on the table, he bought a cuppa hot milo, hot water and an empty glass. Quavering, he mixes half part water half part milo into the empty glass. He stared at the lil puddle of spilled beverage. She smiled, offered him bread and went on to give his aged body a back and lower leg massage.

As he fondued roti with milo, i was reminded of how i used to savour the little things in life.. I want to go back to simplicity.. Yet, i find myself going in circles, really. I dont know how to elaborate, nor cite examples, because i've forgotten how everything was like, what i went through.. Maybe, i'll regurgitate everything out one fine day. Till then, i shall lug my heavy baggage in search of 101 way back into love life.

To love and cherish.. To have and to hold.. In sickness and in health..



And till death do them part.. Hereto, they have pledged and lived their faithfulness.

How do we achieve a simple life, without luxury nor self-indulgence (not that it is wrong to do so). How do we liberate ourselves from the weight of materialism. Many a time, we get caught in the hype of a new trend.. Making purchases not imperative to living. And with that.. I confess my lil indulgence..
