on DVD last night. And dawned on a couple of valuable lessons.
Lesson 1: Language
2 slangs i picked up from Rosalee: Yikes-A-Bee! which means Yes! and
Scoop-A-Doo! for Wow.
Lesson 2: Infatuation Vs Love
And i've come to the realisation (once again) that he might 1) have wanted to love me, 2) loved the idea of me (the independant woman part, etc.), 3) love what i stand for, 4) love what i seem to be. But that's not a full picture, is it?
How many times have you said love to one of the opposite sex? Countless. But to say i love you spells loving one for little things that are true of them and only them. And that, he didnt see nor love.
And in this chick flick, it portrayed how possible it is to love someone all your life but not realize it until something happens.
Lesson 3: Life
I'm following my gut. Sometimes you have to do that even if what you're doing seems crazy. Because in the gap between what prudence says we should do and what our heart tells us we must do, there in lies our humanity.
And to Chris, this's for you upon knowing the lil piece of ML news. :) Keep me updated and excited! It's comparable to a butterfly emerging from the coccoon!
"If you feel something and dont do everything in your power to reach for it, then you're basically slapping life in the face."
