Lunched alone at Kim San Leng. Had not so healthy chicken rice. But bahh.. Checked out if there's salsa dance class at Bishan CC! Put on waiting list. Will be ringed if there're enough ppl to start a class. :D
Next moment, im back at home bloggin! Going out soon to City Hall. Lookin for ideas to wrap Sis Faith's giftS. YIPPEEEEE!!!!! Ribbons.. Papers.. Fabric paper.. And stuff. Any ideas out of the box!?

Sunday ended well after jogging at the mini park with lil sis. Mummy whipped nice dishes the entire day! (Though it was Mother's Day. Haha.) Shall bring her out for celebration this coming Sunday!
Woken up by HIM early in the morning at 8. Wanted to meet him up for Mac's breakfast as i knew i may not be able to meet him in the evening. But he didnt want to. I was made even sadder after knewing that he messaged me only at Admiralty, instead of e 1st step into Spore. Remember when i went for my Genting trip last Dec, i was so anxious to get back to Spore for a long chat on the phone with him.. I activated my auto roam.. and stuff.
Really disappointed in him this time round.
Went for a quick swim at Bishan Swimming Complex. A mere 15mins walk away from home. :D The sun was lovely. Made a quick 30mins swim and went for wash up as i promised to accopany Ping to Sengkang for hair cut. MY JOURNEY WAS 1HOUR VIA MRT AND NE-LINE MAN. Waited bout 1.5 hours for her. In the meantime, went to the bank(which killed 45mins of que-ing time) and idled around Compass Point. BISHAN'S STILL DA BEST. Headed down to Aljunied for interview. It was rather dumb.
Urm.. BEST HIGHLIGHT FOR TODAY :
WE HAD DIM SUM!!! YUMMY. We paid 7 inclusive of Soya bean milk, chee cheong fun, siew mai, har gao, fried carrot cake-white, glutinous rice, fried prawn salad, chin chow jelly.. QUITE A SPREAD. Was supposed to grab a SNACK man. Had a big difficulty ordering food as it was all in Chinese characters. HOW AM I GONNA SURVIVE IN TAI WAN!? Left the ordering and translation to Leen and Ping. :( They told me not to make any sound when they're bargaining in taiwan. (the locals would know we're tourists and overly charge us.)
Cabbed down to the cheapo hairdresser. Ping did treatment and thought it was free from a dye session the other time. Turned out to cost 15$! Leen had a hair cut-$6 only. Jus a trim. I? I chatted a lil with Cady while WAITING.. And browsed thru couple of hairstyle magazines. Have quite a clear picture of what hair style i want next. But the question now is.. To do it in Taiwan or Singapore?! Boo. Shall think bout this on Wed when we plan our itinery.

Unfruitful Sunday.
Mummy didnt want to go out at all. She said it was raining (afternoon) and she didnt want to squeeze with the Mother's Day crowd.
Wanted to go for a swim in e afternoon. Rain ruined my plans for the day. :(

Dental Hygiene's paper was a killer. I did my best. I barely slept(2++hrs?). Hoping to scrape thru.
Upsetted me for the entire day.
He's away. To redang.Since Thurs. He didn't apply for auto roaming. he promised me he would.

Oh no. Made a mistake. Its 180. WHAT?! IM ONLY CHARGING 20/HR?! =l Deprived.
Anyways, confirmation for sponsorship's here. And im in this super big dilema. Whether to still go for it or to leave it. Some say.. Take it as a stepping stone.. Its only 2years.. Its our only route(But in 2years, lots can happen) Why not?Its worth it.A gaureenteed job!
How huh!? Pray bout it!
The feelin in me right now is.. Ok ruth, don't take, go NDC upon graduation, work on both kids and adults, then 2-3 years later go private practice.
Hmm.Sounds good? Not as good as getting 900/mth for 1 year, 950 for subsequent. And what will i do with the money? Prob needa pay for the house.. If not, jus save it, prob use it fr further education or something.
Carrying a burden i almost cannot bear. Overwhelming me. But i look to You O Lord.
ITS WEDNESDAY! Kinda felt that the rush's over! This time round.. No exam mood eh! Not at all! Let Your peace be upon me, all the days of my life..
Calculated tuition fees for the mth of April. WOA. ITS 225 $. Kinda.. Shocked! Minus thithe.. AND THAT'LL COVER MY ACCOMODATION LIAO. It's never been so much. Usually, bout 100+ abit.. April's rollin in money!

Sunday, May 01, 2005

The prices for air ticket(352 to and fro) and accomodation are irresistable. Ok, air ticket, may plunge in the near future. But definately not for accomodation as we are gonna lodge in Ping's Fren's motel. (Yes, i've decided to go!) So i hope it'll be cheaper? Haha. Moreover, there'll be someone to bring us around!!! Why not eh?! :) Cant wait to try out the food, shoppppppppe, play and stuff. I guess the 1st thing i'll do when i touch down is to visit the salon! By that time, the frizzies would be sprouting like no one's business! (its budding even right now)

Really cant wait for next week(exam week) to breeze pass! The 2 weeks of attachment 'turns me off'. Without that, i could start work, which generates $$$$$$!!!

Oh yes, went out with father and lil sis for lunch yesterday. Seriously i was VERY reluctant. But i went anyway. I needed to have lunch.. And yet save money at the same time. Thank God, father picked a 100$ Takashimaya voucher and it flew into my pocket! What i have sown last Sat during svc indeed brought back a tenfold return! Amen! Cant wait for 6th of May to PARTIEEEEEE!

Any temp job to offer?
In a dilema. To go or not to go.
Where to, u'll say. TAIPEI !!! With Fuglians (Confirmed - Leen and Ping.)
Air tix via JetStarAsia- 325(Tax inclusive)
Accomodation plus food for 9-10 days - approx 500 SGD?
That sums up to 800 $ !!!
How bout shopping, blah blah. Ping says 1k is enough.
But its kinda weird right. I mean.. To go abroad and have fun is not quite possible without spending power. Im not talking bout coming back with bags of LV and Gucci or some other high end brand. But... Aiyah. How should i put it? I hope uunderstand!!!!
In a state of euphoria now! Thinking bout how fun it'd be if i were to go.
But uh huh. Back to reality. Examinations - couple of days away. Next tues, wed, fri and its OVER! Yes, O-V-E-R. And it'd mark the end of my 1st year in NYP. Boo. How fast time flies!

STUDY BREAK! SOUNDS COOL EH!!! Sadly, i wasted monday and tuesday. Monday - busy sorting out the notes and stuff. Tues - Lazed at home till it was time for tuition! Tuition sure was easy today! Simply summarized the Geog Text for Viron and made him write notes! Hope this study method works for him!
Wed - Ping called me up at like.........8.40AM. I AM TIRED CANNNN. But i dragged myself up and headed to sch's library. Studying was REALLY SLOW. Was still at inflammation while she was way ahead of me. Soon came lunch. After lunch, Ping and i went up the lab in search for Dr Hema. Ping wanted to submit her MC. Saw the NEWBIES. They really looked kinda square. But how square they really are can only be 'diagnosed' 3 weeks later? After they open up that nut shell of theirs.
Thurs - Which is today! Still on GOP. Hope to finish GOP today and 2 lectures on Op Tech! Way to go!!!! Thats all for now. Taken a break thats wayyyyy toooooo longgggggg.

Monday - Thurs*18-21/04/05
Only phrase to describe: Life's a straight line . Except for few gossip sessions here and there, clinicals were wayyyy toooo dryyyy. Ar huh. Hitched a ride from Dan on Tues as i had to be at kembangan at 6pm and had somehow met him at the lift. At first he offered to alight us at City hall, then PayaLebar as he had change of plans on his side. Final decision: Drop us off at our respective destinations. Really nice of him. It was polite of him to drive at snail's pace. Too many cool gadgets in that silver box of his i cant remember. Stared blankly at the roads on the Eastern side of Spore-So very foreign! Couple moments of silence after Carmen alighted.
Than came Thurs. Couple of cards to express our gratittude were bought by my fellow class mates. After office hours, Fuglians turned cranky (as usual). We were wrecking havoc at Tutorial 2A! Each of us contributed to the 'design' of the card for the 3rd years. In our concious effort to make our messages turn fugly, it looked ok afterall. Its like.. What we wrote is really creative and has some form of..Stlye incorporated into it. Hence, no matter what horrible colour combi we planted, it was simply NICE. Haha. Is that the correct word? Anyways, that is history. This incident- i will never forget. Somehow, there seem to be hope once again!(Guess u wont know what im referring to here eh.) Consider this warm up session for Friday's geling session.
Friday. Time FLEW. Some parts of it probably disintegrated. Clinicals soon ended. Basically bidding our good byes, expressing thanks to them for being such a great host and not forgetting that 'event' starting with G. Yes, thats right. GOSSIP SESSIONS.
Fondly miss the ppl there. Seriously, what is learnt during the procedures are secondary. Its the communication and interpersonal skills thats primary. Eat the meat, throw the bones. Whats left? Sweet memories. Whats thrown? Complaints of insignificant others.
Library sessions again. B-O-R-I-N-G. An evaluation form was given. One question was: What was the activity u enjoyed most? I had the urge to fill: LIBRARY SESSIONS. AHahahaha.
Early dismissal. We turned from Blue Ducklings to Pulchritudinous Swans. Took 95 down to Holland V. Long walk to the spot of life. Half way thru, 4 of them decided to hail a cab. Leen and i were persistant and wanted to complete the walkathon. Threw some stuff into the cab and headed to Hagen Dazs hands free. Was kinda...Sweating profusely, but we denied. Afterall, they are Fuglies and knew what we were really thinking about. Leen and i were exposed. (We wanted to act as if the walk there was light and breezy but we failed.)
Thrashed 'things' out at Hagen Dazs. Really a great session. All the unhappiness were spelled out. (With elaboration and exampleS!)
An unpleasant incident happened at the ice cream store too. Shallnt elaborate.
Headed to Tango's as WaLaWaLa was full. If only we were 20, we'd go up for the live band at Wala's!
Had Strawberry and Mango Marblahblah PLUS lotsa fooooood. Played games and poked at each other's folly. Great time spent. ('Lady Luck' wasnt smiling at me. I 'striked' several times. But resisted drinking.) How often we get to spend such happy moments together!
Left at bout 9. Went home, smiling to myself. Retired to bed as soon as i got home.

Thurs
Allllright. We forgot bout the Denture session. Oh dear.. Needa look for that lecturer for a sincere apology. The last impression i'd like her to have is that we are a big bunch of useless and forgetful bums.

Friday
WACKING FUN DAY. Ended kinda early. (3Plus) Thats the only best thing that happened today. Haha.
Gotta know lotsa news bout Ah beng. Suddenly all that we talk about would somehow be linked to him! Thoughts of unbelief ran through my mind. Curiosity filled me! Gotta find out more on Monday!!! Like what the hell right. He's the... 2004 Cleo's Top 50 Most Eligible Bachelor.. Ex swimmer.. Owns a factory.. And blah. Alright. From Mon to Fri. Perception bout Ah Beng changed a whole lot. He's rather gentleman. Thats all i could say. No talks bout personal stuff just yet. Probably probing more into this colourful life of his on monday! Spaciality mannnn.. In a foreign ground afterall.. hmm, how should i start?!
Bused down to Holland V. after changing outta that BLUE STUFF. At Holland V, gotta change back cannnn.. Thanks to Cady lorrrrrr. We (Leen ping and i) desperately wanted to wear 'home' clothes, but Cady didnt bring clothes and felt weird. Verdict : ALL OF US CHANGED BACK INTO THAT BLUE STUFF. Jus that now, its more crumpled. Shopped and i bought pumps from x:odus. Sat down for Bites and Cuppa Coffee at Breko. Gossiped larh.. What else man. Left for home at bout 8plus.

Sat
Supper with Dan, Shan, Lyon and Robson after svc. Had zi char together. First time in history mannnn.. Ordered medium, the portion was ALOT. But.. i seriously wasnt feeling fullllll. Reached home at bout 1245am.

Sunday
Me : So when can we remove the braces?
Kenji : Today, if u want.
Me : Alright. Sure.
Kenji : U like the alignment and the bite?
Me : Im ok.
And...... Gone were the days where i had braces on. And i sure look WEIRD to myself! I realised i have BEEEEEG teeth. I prefer myself in braces. I thought i look kinda cute! :P Ok, u'll feel like slapping me after reading this yeah?

On The First Day Of Christmas My True Love Gave To Me...
I mean, on the first day of attachment..
What else could be worse than putting on the blue cleaners' look-a-like uniform.

On bus no. 95 stood a man in blue collare. And i passed a remark i wish i could take back. I said to Kel : Whichever student in dentistry wearing blue today is quite suay. He'll look like he's one of us!

Outside the Dean's office were pictures taken way back before i was born. Spotted Dr Hema in her younger days. She was SO CHEERY. And she still is now! Cuz she's teaching the cream of the crop-US. Haha.

WOW. An eye opener, indeed! Worked with the 4th years. Nice ppl. Ok, not all. Some were rather shy, some were quite friendly. That foreigner i worked with was really approachable. He made me feel so at home!

Couldnt have been more tired. Stood all the way in the clinic man! Too shy to sit eh.

And yes, the most horrid incident : An old indian lady from DSSU.. (Which we thought at first is a toilet cleaner) said : Same ar Same ar! (Referring to our uniform larhhhh. Dont u get what i mean?)

2nd Day was ALOT better. BORING PREVENTIVE DENTISTRY LECTURE. Was like Oral Health Promotion! 1st 2/3 of the lecture, busy taking down notes. For goodness sake. She rattled on and on so quickly that i couldnt bother much more.
Afternoon sessions were great. Starting to feel alittle more comfortable. But need to adapt to the new faces-e 3rd yrs.
Alright. Some looked arrogant. They probably were shy. And we had this prejudice bout # at the very last part of the day.

2 Funny Incidents
1) A toilet cleaner in off white gave us that kind of 'what-are-u-doing-in-that-blue-top' stare. He was literally giving us a disgusted scan from the crown of my head to the sole of my feet! Pointed that out to Pinggy and we laughed over it.
2) Cady and i were at the ladies brushing and grooming. Than in came a lady, peeking in and she went : Fook u! Cady and i turned and looked at each other, bursting out in hilarious laughter.

Pingy had a needlestick injury today. Fault lying in the in-house departments. The needle was embedded in the gown! Shallnt elaborate on it. They paid in full her medical checkup. Hope all will turn out fine for my darling girl.

Wed
Pinggy didnt join us for today. Feeling feverish, she decided to give today a miss.

Boring time at lab, to the extent we sit down for occassional chats at some discreet corner of the clinic. Only our 3rd day and we are sick of observing. Everything seems mundane.

Gave my first.............................to a guy.
Assisted WeiQiang in charting and procedures in Perio. I know i kinda flopped when he stopped work and wore his goggles. Bah, he probably forgot to wear them. :D not that im not doing a good job. And oh, dont get the wrong idea! Dental Therapist/Hygienist dont assist dentists. Any P6 student with average dexterity can do that closing one eye.
These peeps are really a fabulous bunch of big kids! They have their fair share of fun though they look kinda serious at e clinic, I guess. However the staff were not too hospitable.

Thursday's gonna be fun-something new! A staff invited half the class to pop in for denture making session. Cant wait!

Sunday night
Actually forgot bout OpTech test tmr, totally slipped out of my mind!

Anyways, jus back from sch after prac test. And Gosh. What bad remarks DrHema gave. But true la. Haha. Like what i usually do during lab is wrong cannn. In my concious effort to restore the pits and marginal ridge, i left out carving the cental groove! How silly i can get. 3 mistakes DrV pointed out: Little shortage on mesio buccal, scratch on mesio interproximal, little contact point. Bahhh. Quite a demoralising day.

Quite a couple of errands to run today.
1)Bras Basah's Art Fren get da stupid rings.
2)Found a black shoe im ok with at Charles&Keith, will be getting e discount card frm Julienne at 0630, than head down to Wisma get da stuff. Dun wanna hold on to the card for too long cuz she's like doing me a favour. Plus the next time i see her would prob be 2 weeks later.
3)Ministry meeting at night. Have ta rush back to city hall after trip to Wisma.
Will prob drop dead when i get home. Like leaving me only Tues to study for Radiography. And that sounds like i have to pia again.

You Are My Sunshine, My Only Sunshine. You Make Me Happy, When Skies Are Grey. You Never Know Dear, How Much I Love You. Pls Dont Take My Sunshine Away.

Wednesday, March 30, 2005

After one has removed the carefully polished mask, are you able to overlook it, accept it and love him?
Went to Naked Fish Shoppe(Grassroots Club, which is mere 5mins walk away from school) for lunch with fellow Fuglians. Was there cuz a coin decided our fate of restaurent or canteen lunch. We were registered as guests, not public! Cool eh! Food's not bad, but serving's small.
Bebe lost his phone in a cab yesterday morning. The phone was returned to the rightful owner. What a miracle! Thank God man... Bought the man Merci Chocolates as a small token. The rest is history.

Friday, March 25, 2005

Finally got a watch-digital one. Sad. 1st day and there're scratches on the steel part. Prob an attitude the watch would like to have? Really damn xin tong now alright. And a fren rubbed on it, adding salt and pepper to the fuming me. Bahhh. Its ok Its Alright. Puay Yong Puay Yong fight fight fight! haha. Suddenly Cady's stage line came to my mind.

Met bebe up and wasnt a very pleasant day. Like, after all was patched up, we felt weird shopping. Its like, the feel isnt right. Somehow, somewhere, something went wrong. Decided to head back home while he meet up his pals. He'll be more glad out with them.. But bahh. thats a totally different story.

The True Meaning Of Easter
by Polly Griffin

To understand the true meaning of Easter, go all the way back to the beginning of creation..

God made a beautiful earth and heaven to be a home for His son, Adam. (Luke 3:38, Genesis 1:1 thru 3:24) Adam was made in the image and likeness of God, his father. Out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every fowl of the air. He brought them to Adam so Adam could give them names.
Also, out of the ground grew every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. At this time, there was no sickness, suffering or death.
And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
"And the Lord God commanded the man saying, of every tree of the garden you may freely eat: but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat of it: for in the day that you eat thereof you shall surely die." (KJV Gen. 3:16-17)
God said that it was not good for man to be alone and so he caused a deep sleep to come upon Adam. God removed a rib from Adam and formed a woman from the rib to be the wife of Adam. Adam named his wife Eve. They truly lived in paradise, the earthly heaven.
Now, in the garden of Eden was a serpent. This serpent was Satan. (Rev. 20:2) Satan is also known as the tempter, Lucifer, and the devil. He personifies evilness and rebellion.
The serpent tempted Eve and said:
"Ye shall not surely die: for God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil." (KJV Gen. 3:4-5)
So, Eve looked at the fruit and saw that it was good for food and pleasant to the eyes and she ate of it. She then gave some to Adam and he ate of it.
By eating the forbidden fruit, Adam caused the downfall of man. God expelled Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden and sickness, suffering, and death came upon the earth.
In spite of Adam's and Eve's failures, God did not lose His love for mankind and promised that He would send a Savior to restore man back to the paradise state that He had intended for man.
(God speaking to Satan in KJV Gen. 3:15) "And I will put enmity (hatred) between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed, it shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel."
(Romans 16:20) "And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly/ The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
Throughout the centuries, the prophets told the story of a Savior that would come to earth to save mankind from their sins and restore them to paradise: (Isaiah 7:14), Matthew 6:10, Hebrew 9:12, Revelation 21:4)

About two thousand years ago that prophecy was fulfilled when a virgin named Mary became pregnant with a son that had been conceived in her by the Holy Spirit. This child was no ordinary child because He was the incarnation of the Word from heaven which came to earth in the form of God's only begotten son, Jesus. (KJV John 1:1-14, John 3:16, 1 Corinthians 15:47, John 8:23)
Mary was engaged to Joseph when she became pregnant by the Holy Ghost. Joseph married her, but their marriage was not consummated until after the birth of baby Jesus.
When it was almost time for the child to be born, a decree went forth from Caesar Augustus that a census of the whole world should be taken. This first census took place while Cyrinus was governor of Syria. And everyone was going to his own town to register.
And Joseph and Mary went from Galilee out of the town of Nazareth into Judea to the town of David, which is called Bethlehem. The town was crowded and there was no place for them to stay in the inn, they went into a stable. Mary delivered her child there and placed Him in a manger. Suddenly an angel of God appeared to shepards and spoke:
"Fear not, for behold I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David, a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
And this shall be a sign unto you: you shall find the Baby wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in a manger.
And as the angel spoke, the heavens were filled with a chorus of angels proclaiming, "Glory to God in the highest, and on Earth, peace, good will toward men."
God's great love for mankind was made manifest through the birth of His son. The long awaited promise of a Savior had now come to pass.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
God's heavenly son was the only person that could save mankind. The price for redemption was His blood. He paid this price upon the cross at Calvary when He was put to death. He conquered death when He was resurrected. His resurrection is celebrated each year at Easter time.
"Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us." (Hebrews 9:12 KJV)
Like Adam and Eve, everyone has a choice to make. Each of us must decide if we want to choose to follow Jesus which leads to life or do we want to follow Satan the evil one. His way leads to death. When we choose Jesus, we are reborn. We cast away the lineage of God's earthly son Adam, who fell from grace. We take on the lineage of God's heavenly son, Jesus.
"He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil." 1 John 3:8
Jesus is calling for workers to help him restore the earth to a heavenly paradise like it once was. He pleads for workers to help with the work.
"'And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest." Matthew 9:35-38
"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." Revelations 21:4 KJV)

The Killing Of Three Lambs
Lamb #1
Long ago lived a man named Abram who was married to a woman named Sarai.
God made a covenant with Abram saying:
"Unto thy seed have I given this land from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates. (Genesis 15:18) Sarai bare Abram no children, but she had a handmaiden named Hagar. She told Abram to go into Hagar and have a child by her. He did and Hagar became pregnant. She bore a son named Ishmael. God told Abram that His covenant was with him. God changed Abram's name to Abraham. God told Abraham to circumcise all males of his seed and all males purchased with money.
God said that Sarai's name would be Sarah and that He would bless her and she would give him a son. She would be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.
With this statement, "Abraham fell upon his face and laughed. He said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?" Genesis 17:17
God said that Sarah would indeed bear him a son and his name shall be called Isaac, and He would establish His covenant with him for an everlasting covenant and with his seed after him.
God also blessed Ishmael. He said that Ishmael would beget 12 princes and he would make him a great nation. However, he said His covenant would be with Isaac.
Sarah did bear Isaac. As Isaac and Ishmael grew, Sarah did not like Hagar and Ishmael. She asked Abraham to cast them out from their home. God told Abraham to do what Sarah asked. She said He would also make Ishmael a mighty nation. Abraham obeyed.
Then God decided to test Abraham's faith in Him. He told him to take his son, Isaac, that he loved, and offer him for a burnt offering. Abraham obeyed God. He bound Isaac and laid him upon the altar. Then he raised the knife to slay Isaac. The angel of the Lord called out to Abraham and told him not to slay the child because he had proven his faith in God.
Then a ram that was caught in the bushes was slaughtered for the burnt offering.
God told Abraham that in his seed all the nations of the earth would be blessed.

Lamb #2
Isaac had a son named Jacob. He had many children, but he loved one of them more than all the others. His name was Joseph. The other children hated Joseph because their Dad loved him most.
One day Jacob gave Joseph a coat of many colors. This really made the other children angry and they decided to get rid of Joseph. They sold him to some merchants who were on their way to Egypt. They killed an animal, put its blood upon the coat and told their father that Joseph had been killed by an animal.
The merchants sold Joseph to the captain of the guard of the ruler of Egypt. The ruler of Egypt was called Pharaoh.
Pharaoh loved Joseph because he had interpreted some dreams for him. Then Pharaoh made Joseph ruler over all of Egypt. Only the Pharaoh was more powerful than Joseph.
Time passed and a famine came upon the earth. Joseph's family came to Egypt to buy corn. Joseph told his family who he was and they were reunited.
All was well until after Joseph and the kind Pharaoh died and other persons took their places. The Israelites (the name of Joseph's family) grew. The Egyptians became fearful of the Israelites because they thought they were going to take over all of Egypt, and they put them in slavery and made them work and serve the Egyptians.
God heard their crying and grieving and sent Moses to lead them out of slavery. God gave them the land known as Israel today for their homeland.
Moses met with the Pharaoh that was ruler at the time and asked him to let the Israelites go but the ruler would not let them leave. God gave Moses the power to show the Pharaoh many signs, but still the ruler would not let the people go. Finally, God said He would do one more thing and after that the ruler would let the people go.
This was to be one of the saddest days in all of history and God said the Israelites must remember it always and to always observe it each year. He was going to set them free from slavery by killing the firstborn child of all the Egyptians.
The Israelites were ordered to eat special foods during this time and they must also kill a lamb and take its blood and paint it on the door so death would not take the lives of the firstborn of the Israelites. When the destroyer saw the blood on the houses of the Israelites, that family was "passed over" and the firstborn were not killed. The ruler of Egypt finally let the people leave Egypt to go to the land that God had given them.
God instructed the Israelites to observe this day by eating the Feast of the Passover each year on the 14th day of the first month. This month is called Abid (or Nisan) on the Jewish calendar.

Lamb #3
Many years later, there was to be another lamb slaughtered to free all the people on earth from the slavery of sin. This time God used His own son, Jesus, as the lamb to be slaughtered and by doing so, the world could be saved.
The slaughtering of our Lord Jesus Christ upon the cross coincides with the days of the Passover and both times must always be remembered as an expression of God's love for the people. Love isn't love until it is put into an action .
As the days drew closer for eating the passover meal, Jesus goes to Jerusalem. As he entered the city, the people laid their garments and branches off the trees and laid them in his path. They cried saying Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. They gathered together in an upper room to eat the passover meal.
Judas Iscariot made plans to betray Jesus. He was promised money if he did.
"And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them; and they all drank of it.
And he said unto them, 'This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many. Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God. And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the Mount of Olives." Mark 14:22-26
Jesus was betrayed by Judas Iscariot and was arrested. He was tried and sentenced to die upon the cross.
He died upon the cross. His blood bought redemption for all mankind.
"Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place , having obtained eternal redemption for us." Hebrews 9:12
The third day after his death, he rose from the dead to live forevermore.
The day he was resurrected is called Easter!!

Sitting right here looking somewhat like a lobster. Burnt by the scorching sun from yesterday's intercourse(Ops. InterDiploma i mean) Captain's ball match. And this v shaped burn under my neck prohibited me from wearing wad i wanted to wear to church. =l All cuz i stupidly wore a polo tee. Did i forget to mention the fair skin i have under glasses? Man, its funny. And, dumb. How would i ever forget bout this?
Its Sunday and im still in a state of euphoria. i still cant accept the fact that we won. Victoriously. Yes, we made it to 'trash the nurses'(sounds familar?) and surprisingly, the therapists too. Dr Ron even visualized Yas gulping champange from the trophy!
The pre-tournament trainings were all worth it. The players were so comfortable by Sat, and displayed wonderous coordinations.
Regristration was scary. We looked like dawrfs admist the tall the huge the tanned the fit and the netballers n never forgetting the 'smelly' basket-ballers that used a weird stretegdy no one would have ever thought of.

All of us had this premonition that we would be kicked out after round1 cuz the1st nursing team that competed against us had 2 giants-The defender who literally tapped away every ball we threw to huemin, and the big man who played rather rough thought that the girls would feel intimidated! When the score was a draw, the defender tried hard to stall time by pulling a quick one:stomachache. However, the empires stopped time and ruined his plan.Over the mountains and the seas, we won 5-4! Close shave indeed. Confidence grew as we got pass the 1st round.

2nd match was against Occupational Therapy. The pace was so fast. The co-ordination was pur-fat. DT won comfortably;9-1. Thanks to Ping who did long shoots as the team's energy was draining. HeeShen was there to 'support'. He wore this 'sunglasses' over his specs. I dont mean those that have magnets at the side for clip ons. Get the picture : He wore glasses prob meant for Radiography. =l Some said he looked like he's all geared up for diving. Boo. Will that be made possible?

3rd match was against RG. The most memorable one. The match Ping was looking forward to. LoL! The unhappiness DTs harboured over them having 4 guys were finally blurted out. The argument made Kel ignite in flames. In e end, compromise was made : They were allowed to replace 1 guy. Most memorable incident: Desmond ROARED at Kel. LOL. Everyone who caught that was laughing hysterically. A moment to remember, indeed. Another incident : No4 n Kel were snatching over the ball. Kel got it when she whined to the umpire I GOT IT FIRST... Sub Ping as i needed to do something, though i was a reserve. Slowed the entire match playing around for 5 mins. I blurted out a loud "SHIT" as the opponent got the ball. Thank God, wad was rightfully ours was gotten back. 11-3 was the score.

Final match-against Yr2 Nursing. The guys passed the balls to their female mates only when they were left with no choice. They had real weird tactics. Trashed them with 13-6.

Dr Ron : Thanks for showing your utmost support all the way. And having confidence in such a horrid player like me. I can thank u till the cows go home for having in me such great faith. Haha.

Supporters
Tan weiwei, Marilyn, Cady n YuanQi took the effort to cheer in the blazing sun. I was somewhat a supporter too. I yelled my throat away. Without all these shrieking support and cheers, I dun think DT will win. The supporters were truly their only source of motivation. The prize is secondary. What was important was that we really got to care for each other. Really, deeply touched by your attendance. Loads of kissies to u all!
Attn:Cady, thanks for taking the trouble of waking up early(earlier den me!) to make me egg butter breakfast instead of PizzaBreakfast every1 was having. And not forgetting the effort of making it triangular! Thanks alot baby.

Iliyas : Dude, PLEASE RELAX. Glad that the idea of being knocked out neverever cross your mind.

LeEn : Firm. Swift. Only words to describe u!

Huemin : Really glad u joined! U are really great. Goals wouldnt had been ours without your long legs and hands!

Huiping : MVP is the term, perfect for u. (Most Valuable Player)

Mastura : Ever ready, ever steady

Yusri : You are jus too good to be true. So agile. U are really EVERYWHERE, EVERYTIME. Indeed living up to ur name! Wouldnt had been possible with your incredible legs and hands!

Ruth : Girl thanks for comin down, u aint a reserve. U were GOOD n that's why u were chosen to join e team. u improved tremendously n for e 2nd game u were steady n made some good passes n catches. impressive performance after only 3 trainings :D (THIS IS FROM KELLY!!!! SHE REALLY MADE ME FLY SKY HIGH)

DT emerged as champions. No one ever would expect dwarfs to get that tittle. But was everyone there to share this joy?

Mundane day. Little communication with heem. Well, not only today, every other week day. Whereas Sats, busy with own stuff, den church in evening, talk so little. Sunday, prob abit better.
Had some sort of misunderstanding. Too long to elaborate here. Well, verdict : I cant take it anymore. Always sprouting all the qi hua, than apologising after that. Heee thinks i've got no temper and no angry words to splish splash spatter? I keep them all. Cause i know its not gonna help things. In my point of view, i'd rather be the sour one, keeping the flame burning right in me, than letting it out and making things worst. I know how bad this tongue of mine can be. But i decided to control it, to tie it. Cant YOU? Really. I cant take in any more apologies.
See how u've dampened my study mood. Tired. Really tired. Its so late(1am) and i'm not done with studying. Much more to cover.
Heeeee jus called. As what i anticipated him to say; too tired, had long day, viscous cycle again, good night, slp now. muack bye. C= Cool ya?
And no, not trying to demean heeem. Jus want to let it out thru a medium that's non responsive. U know, sharing it with others may twist the entire thoughts and feelings, and inculcate in me evil ideas. muaaahahaha.
