Topsy turvy Sunday!
Episode 1: I brought my ATM and driver's lic(for identification purposes) but not my EZ Link. 2: Faulty ticketing machine shortchanged me of $1!
I must admit the following rancorous emotions arised from past work experience. Coupled with the fact that i had only 2 slices of KayaToast and 1/2 cuppa iced Milo. Am totally embittered by hours of labour!
1) Sometimes.. I cant see where the salivary ejector is no matter how far forward i bend. Hello? I tried. And tried my best. Still, i got a good lil tongue lash.
2) Trying to anticipate what you want all these weeks. But i asked for instructions in an unfamilar procedure. How i'd know #18 #28 is usually(80%) extracted only with a WarwickJames?! The previous person i worked with used tons of elevators and a forcep!
All that yada yada bout non-verbal communication. Whats the cue sent when you shook your head?
3) And a 4yr old kid presented at the clinic. That lil imp was SO troublesome.
4) May 13th. Sunday. Mother's Day. Hello again? Last patient: scheduled at 4pm. And i totally understand how time is treated like rubber, hence anticipated work to end at 6pm. Ended a good 1 hour later than anticipated time, 2 hours later than off work time.
5) I'd choose assisting over frontdesk counter and pantry duties. Yet somehow, it irked me to realise that while im twisting and turning assisting, exposing my LASIKed orcs to aerosol, blah blah, my fellow collegue's sitted comfortably doing simple duties, washing instruments, etc. The usual me would pass it off as other clinical duties, fair share of workload, etc. Its just today..
Nope. No PMS.
Having understood my umfamilarity with instruments and materials, boss gave me a good 'debrief'.. And i simmered down a lil.
Having being stirred by the entire series of events at work, the final blow came during an exchange of sardonic speech with my friendly smiles and polite replies. I've been really nice talking to you tonight. Do reflect. I dont know why the need for one word replies, 'whatever', and all that what-nots. Ok so you apologised for that. After all, let me go. At least for now. Why hold on to me? And the good 4years we shared. There're tons of better woman out there. I dont deserve this. Upon reaching his main point bout religion, i brokedown. And wept.

doesn't matter how too strong an iron is which makes it brittle, and it may break, iron can still be melted and reform again.
cheer up man. nothing in this world is as bad as that, even if there is. you'll be all formed and ready to handle that.
