Little Miss Cata bombed a code-red surprise on workaholic me and blemished my suit dress cardinal. Of all days, the air-con maintainence man had to make a trip today. After hurrying him off, i applied for an urgent half day leave. Covering the area just below my ass, i sauntered out of school like nothing happened and hailed a cab, most abashed.
In case you're wondering, I missed my period last month and am prepared for a sudden aunty-visit. I guess i was too busy and engrossed at work that i didnt feel a thing. On top of that, i dont usually experience code-red such as menstrual cramps nor plague my pals with mood swings.
Yet im so thankful my leave was granted via a phone call and am able to go for a full pedicure session this afternoon! *Skips around!*

Not the most glorifying matter to start 2008 with. Looking forward to 6th Feb, tie up the lunar year and start afresh-again. Strong believer in giving and receiving 2nd chances.

Passed by a 3 vehicle minor collision at Whampoa South on my way back. A motorbike, van and salon car were involved. Butt on tar, face white washed, the rider was trying to 'blow' dirt off his grazed arm. Being a kind hearted and k-po citizen of Sg, I took a quick shower, grabbed medical wound cleansing supplies and cycled down. I swear i was as fast(10mins) as Dash(Incredibles) can be, but was prolly 5mins too late. The casualty has been sent off, car driven off, leaving the van and its driver, a chui bike and a Traffic Police reporting the situation. The disappointed citizen u-turned for home.
Point is, lunch time and on a busy road towards the city, doesnt anyone who bothered slowing down to look-see stock a FirstAidKit in the car? Or are we carried away by the hustle bustle of life and neglect the survival and shelter needs of others? Did anyone offer a lift to the injured? Was speeding, using communication devices, poor judgement, .. the cause of the accident?
On hindsight, i see the need to always be ready, in season and off season. The need to foresee changes and expect the unexpected. In an instance, these are no longer lines quoted ever so often, but a learning point at the expense of others, indeed.

Oh. The full pedicure session took bout an hour and am currently wearing OPl Got The Blues For Red. I prefer the previous, OPl Rose Petal! Up next, i wanna try OPl Mrs. O'Leary's BBQ.

Yippee. Signing off on my most hated day of the week: Tuesday.
Mondays arent blue .. because .. the weekends just passed.
Tuesdays are a turn off .. because .. weekends seem eons away.
Wednesdays pass by fast .. because .. its the hump of the week.
Thursdays makes my neck grow longer .. because .. friday's nearing.
Fridays are to thank god for .. because .. its the end of a work week.
Saturday is my Sabbath and i respect it .. because i work on Sunday too.
Sunday's work is ironically dreadful yet fulfilling .. because i get to learn and earn.
